It seems as if all the organizational runing around like a headless chicken is paying off. We have had amazing responses from: - The Saldanha Bay Municipality
- The Vredenburg SAPS
- SAS Saldanha
- The Military Academy
- Local Churches
- Langebaan Biker Boys
- Langebaan Youth Brigade
- Saldanha Rugby Club
- Local Charities
- and the list goes on

On the 24th of September 2008 the bikers of the West Coast once again will rise up to take a stand against DRUGS.
This movement, started during 2007 when more than 90 motorcyclists and their pillion riders joined forces with the local SAPS to take a stand against the dealing of drugs amongst our youth, has had a great response from the members of the local communities leading to numerous arrests by the SAPS.
This year the Bikers Against Drugs movement has grown to include bikers and riders from as far field as Cape Town.
The event will start at 10h00 at the Engen One Stop outside Langebaan from where, under police escort, it will proceed through Langebaan then to Vredenburg and Saldanha Bay where it will end on the Sports Fields of the Saldanha Rugby Club.
At the end venue, various activities have been organized to show the youth of the area that there are alternative lifestyles to drug addiction.
All members of the media are welcome to join the Mass Ride.
